 ООО "Газпромнефть Шиппинг" создано в декабре 2008 года с целью оперативного управления бункерным флотом ООО "Газпромнефть Марин Бункер".
 Общество на 100% принадлежит группе компаний "Газпром нефть":
 - 99% ООО "Газпромнефть Марин Бункер"
- 1% ООО "Газпромнефть финанс"
ООО "Газпромнефть Шиппинг" оказывает услуги по перевозке нефтепродуктов и бункеровке. Деятельность осуществляется на основании лицензий:
 - лицензия на перевозку опасных грузов
- лицензия на погрузо-разгрузочные работы опасных грузов)
 
Основным клиентом ООО "Газпромнефть Шиппинг" является его акционер в лице ООО "Газпромнефть Марин Бункер", а также аффилированная компания - ООО "Газпромнефть Терминал СПб". В клиентской базе существуют и сторонние контрагенты в лице бункерных и рыболовецких компаний, экспортеров нефтепродуктов.
 ООО "Газпромнефть Шиппинг" начало свою деятельность в декабре 2008 г. (до момента получения в апреле 2009 года необходимых лицензий на оказание услуг по бункеровке и перевозке грузов) с подбора персонала, в т.ч. экипажей судов, анализа имеющегося на судах
ООО "Газпромнефть Марин Бункер" производственного и технологического оборудования на предмет его технического состояния, с подготовки к проведению плановых доковых ремонтов для освидетельствования морским или речным регистрами, получения всех необходимых лицензий и разрешений.
 На момент получения основных лицензий ООО "Газпромнефть Шиппинг" было передано в управление 2 парохода. На текущий момент в управлении ООО "Газпромнефть Шиппинг" находится 9 судов-бункеровщиков, которые осуществляют бункеровки в портах Санкт-Петербурга, Новороссийска, Владивостока, Мурманска. Общество также имеет опыт работы за пределами территориальных вод.
 
В целях обеспечения безопасности на море, предотвращения несчастных случаев, сохранения жизни людей и окружающей среды в ООО "Газпромнефть Шиппинг" внедрена и сертифицирована на соответствие кодексу МКУБ и стандарта ISO 9001:2008 Система управления безопасностью и качеством.
 
ООО "Газпромнефть Шиппинг" входит в состав участников Российской Ассоциации морских и речных бункеровщиков и Ассоциации судоходных компаний.
