Our History

More than 30 years innovating 

In July 1996 Capt. Marcelino Tuero Zorrilla founded PROPERMAR® as the first Crew Manager Company in Mexico. Aiming to offer "Maritime Crew Services for the shipping and port industry." Since its inception, over more than two decades ago, PROPERMAR® has stood out for its dedication to the professional growth of its seafarers, forming them as Deck & Engine Cadets to Masters and Chief Engineers, also promoting the best Ratings we could offer.

Our crewing operations are fully STCW-2010 compliant, and we manage the full crewing cycle including recruitment, rotation planning, documentation, certification, medical screening, training coordination, worldwide crew change logistics, crew administration and management services.
