Інформація про вакансію 2nd Engineer (for Platform Supply vessel):

The Second Engineer is second-in-charge of the engine department, reporting to the Chief Engineer. Responsible for the daily operation, watchkeeping, maintenance, and safe running of main and auxiliary machinery — including DP2 power and propulsion systems — on board a platform supply vessel operating in the KSA, in full compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, IMCA guidelines, Aramco standards, and company procedures. Candidate must have previous 2/E experience on the same vessel type. When you apply, please tell us where else you have applied or sent your CV (company names). Characteristics & Skills:
• Operation and maintenance of DP2 power-generation, distribution, and propulsion/thruster systems, including redundancy requirements;
• Strong technical knowledge of diesel-electric and/or medium-speed diesel engines, generators, and switchboards;
• Understanding of power-management systems and DP-related electrical redundancy;
• Support of cargo/liquid transfer systems (fuel, water, mud, brine, cement) on supply vessels;
• Competence in planned maintenance systems (PMS) and spare-parts management;
• Sound understanding of bunkering, fuel/oil transfer, and MARPOL compliance.
