Salvage Master

We are seeking an experienced Salvage Master to lead and coordinate an active maritime salvage and emergency response operation involving a tanker following engine room flooding and fire damage.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and provide daily direction to the on-site salvage team.
Oversee and guide salvage activities, including underwater patching, dewatering, and subsequent ordinate closely with the Naval Architect, dive team, pumping subcontractors, and other project velop operational priorities, plans, and timelines as the salvage operation progresses.
Support planning and execution of cargo discharge operations, including potential ship-to-ship transfer or lightering.
Participate in daily client meetings and provide clear updates on completed work, upcoming activities, and operational concerns.
Maintain accurate daily records of on-site activities for project ordinate with logistics and shoreside teams to ensure required equipment, personnel, and supplies are vide operational input to project management and commercial teams regarding timelines and requirements.
Take responsibility for other duties reasonably expected of a Salvage Master during the operation.

Position: Hybrid — offshore attendance and shoreside duties as required. Offshore accommodation will be provided aboard the attending tugboat.

Duration: Immediate start; minimum one week, with the operation expected to continue for at least one month.
