Requirements:

Required documents and experience:
A young officer with commercial endorsement, a sail background for minimum 2 years on yachts 100+m
Hold ONW unlimited endorsement
- Acting as the Navigation Officer and responsible to the Captain for Passage Planning.
·Maintenance of charts and nautical publications . Responsible for ensuring that charts and publications are kept corrected and up to date, ordering of charts and publications and the maintenance of the Electronic Chart System NAVTOR
·Maintenance of all Nautical Equipment.
·Keeping a Navigational Watch at sea or at anchor and, In Port Watch as per the watch-plan.
·Ensure that Deck and GMDSS Log Books are kept up to date,
·Liaise with ETO for upkeep, maintenance and inventory of bridge and radio equipment.
·Researching and suggesting to the Captain / Chief Officer various cruising routes, potential excursion points of interest and other “owner enhancing” duties.
·Preparing and testing the bridge equipment prior to departure and reporting deficiencies to the Captain, and securing the bridge after berthing.
·Upon order assisting in deck maintenance.
·Upon order assist in tender toy operations as part of the launch teams and/or tender/toy crew.
·Ensures that all navigational equipment, electronic instruments, navigational lights, standard and emergency signaling devices are in proper working condition and serviced on regular basis by the technical department
·Makes sure that all navigational charts required for the voyage are available and up-to-date
