Provide engineering support during vessel salvage, refloating, wreck removal, emergency towage, and recovery operations.
Assist in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of salvage equipment, including hydraulic power units, winches, pumps, compressors, and dewatering systems.
Support the installation, operation, and maintenance of temporary machinery and equipment required for salvage projects.
Ensure machinery and auxiliary systems are operational and ready to support salvage activities.
Assist with machinery inspections and technical assessments of damaged, disabled, or partially submerged ordinate with the Salvage Master, Chief Engineer, and other technical personnel to address engineering requirements during operations.
Respond to machinery breakdowns and equipment failures during critical salvage operations.
