Responsible for preparing daily meals, snacks, and refreshments for all crew ans menus and prepares food according to crew preferences, dietary requirements, and available provisions.
Manages food stocks, inventory, and galley provisions, ensuring proper storage and minimizing wastage.
Maintains high standards of galley hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness in accordance with vessel/company requirements.
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining galley equipment, utensils, refrigerators, and food preparation ordinates with the Master regarding provision requirements and replenishment before and during the voyage.
Ensures meals are prepared and served on schedule to accommodate the vessel's watchkeeping arrangements.
