Reqirements:
At least three years experience in the position of AB Deck.
Good Command English
Able Seafarer Deck Watch Rating Certificate II/5.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Proficient in the use of lifesaving, damage control and safety equipment onboard.
• Partake in inspections, trainings and meetings as instructed by the Head of Department.
• Other tasks pertaining to departmental operations as instructed by the Head of Department.
• Ensures that the set standards are kept.
The Deck Petty Officers are divided between two main responsibilities, Fire Fighting Equipment and Life Saving Appliances. Maintains and tests all fire-fighting equipment; Maintains and tests all life saving appliances; Report to the Bosun
