The Electrician is primarily responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing all electrical systems and fixtures onboard the cruise vessel. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the operational safety and comfort of both passengers and crew by keeping electrical systems running smoothly.
Qualifications:
Certified Electrician with a diploma or equivalent technical training.
Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a maritime or similar industrial environment.
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and high-voltage electrical equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
