Cook's Ticket is a fully digital training and assessment
programme for ship's cooks, authorised by the Danish
Maritime Authority (DMA) under MLC 2006, Standard A3.2.

What sets us apart: the entire assessment is completed
remotely. Online modules, a practical cooking assessment
submitted on video, and a proctored exam with biometric
verification — all from wherever the candidate is,
including on board. No travel, no classroom, no time off
work.

Candidates receive a Certificate of Completion from
Cook's Ticket. The Ship's Cook Certificate itself is
issued by the Danish Maritime Authority on separate
application (DKK 855 government fee).

The Danish Ship's Cook Certificate has been confirmed in
writing by the UK MCA, the Bahamas Maritime Authority,
the Hong Kong Shipping Registry and the Cayman Islands
Shipping Registry. Singapore's MPA accepts ship's cook
certificates issued by any MLC state, including Denmark.

Requirements include a recognised cooking qualification,
documented sea service, valid STCW basic safety training
and a maritime medical certificate. Full details at
