2nd Engineer iş ilanı hakkında bilgi (LPG Tanker):

The Second Engineer is second-in-charge of the engine department, reporting to the Chief Engineer. Responsible for the daily operation, watchkeeping, maintenance, and safe running of main and auxiliary machinery on board an LPG tanker, in full compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, the IGC Code, ISM, and company procedures. Candidate must have previous 2/E experience on the same vessel type. When you apply, please tell us where else you have applied or sent your CV (company names). Characteristics & Skills:
• Hands-on expertise with MAN B&W ME-C electronically controlled main engines, including hydraulic and control systems;
• Strong technical knowledge of boilers, purifiers, pumps, compressors, and auxiliary machinery;
• Understanding of LPG cargo machinery: reliquefaction plants, cargo compressors, and pumps;
• Sound knowledge of the IGC Code, gas-carrier safety, and cargo containment systems;
• Competence in planned maintenance systems (PMS) and spare-parts management;
• Sound understanding of bunkering, fuel/oil transfer, and MARPOL compliance;
• Strong troubleshooting and repair capability at sea.
