We are looking for a good supertindent for the Dregger vessel in China.

Duties:

To control the knowledge and compliance of ship crews with the current rules and regulations governing service on ships of the maritime fleet, as well as the current orders, regulations, instructions, and rules of technical operation of the fleet.
2. To check the technical condition of ship equipment and its maintenance by the crews, and to provide assistance in carrying out repair and preventive work by the crews and employees of ship repair plants.
3. To compile repair lists before the ships are put up for repair in order to determine the scope of repair work and material costs.
4. Keep records of the volume of work performed during ship repairs and be personally responsible for the completeness and quality of repairs, the consumption of materials, labor, and financial resources for repairs.

5. Monitor the provision of technical documentation, spare parts, and other material and technical supplies for ships.
6. To check the correctness of the maintenance and storage of the ship's technical documentation, the compilation and implementation of schedules for preventive inspections and repairs of the ship's equipment.
7. To check the elimination of previously identified shortcomings in the technical condition and technical operation of the ships.
8. To identify design flaws and causes of failure of the ship's equipment, and to develop measures to eliminate them.
9. To monitor the implementation of technical training on ships.
10. To provide assistance to ship crews in mastering new equipment and small-scale mechanization, introducing advanced methods of technical operation, and repairing ship equipment.
11. To control the adjustment of ship equipment in order to ensure its most efficient operation, reduce fuel and oil consumption, and increase reliability.
12. To organize the preparation and timely submission of ships for inspection by a classification society.
13. Participate in drawing up inspection plans and working with inspection commissions on ships, analyzing accidents, their causes, and developing measures to prevent them, and accepting ships into service after construction and repairs.
14. Participate in testing, setting up, and adjusting equipment, and assembling machine teams.
15. Know, understand, and apply the current regulatory documents related to his activities.
16. Knows and complies with the requirements of regulatory acts on occupational safety and environmental protection, and follows the rules, methods, and techniques for safe work.
Qualification requirements:
1. Higher education in the specialty "Operation of ship power plants" (Master, Specialist). Work experience in a profession related to technical operation and repair of ship equipment: for a Master - at least 2 years, for a Specialist - at least 4 years.
2. Knowledge of business, technical English at least at the level of B2 (Proficiency), for conducting business correspondence and communicating with Contractors (crew, port authorities, inspectors).
To know and apply in the activities:
- resolutions, orders, orders, regulations, instructions, regulatory documents on technical operation and repair of the fleet, ship technical means;
- technical operation, maintenance and repair of the fleet;
- production capacities of ship repair enterprises;
- technical and operational characteristics, purpose and operating modes of the power power plant, ship equipment, systems, mechanisms;
- regulatory documents regulating the organization of the ship service;
- rules and regulatory documents of the RMRS or other classification societies that carry out technical supervision of the vessels being serviced;
