Requirements:
WE ONLY CONSIDER CANDIDATES WITH YACHT OR SHIP EXPERIENCE.
Reports to : the Head Chef/ sous Chef
He will be able to multi-task effectively as directed by the Head Chef and be involved in the dishes and side dishes preparation, the cleaning of the galley and the storage areas.
Job Responsibilities:
·Can assist in the preparation of the crew and guest meals or side plates as to be required
·Assist in the Provisioning of all food items
·Undertake cleaning of the kitchen utensils and kitchen area and maintain high standards of hygiene.
·Maintain clean store areas.
Required Skills:
·Basic knowledge of nutrition, diets and allergies
·Cooking skills
·Basic knowledge of food safety and storage
·Organized, adaptable
Must have valid certificates:
BST , Security awareness, ENG1, culinary Degree desirable , Food Hygiene Certificate minimum Level 2 (such as HABC Level Two or City of Guilds Award in Food Hygiene). Food handler medical certificate.
