Requirements:

The ideal candidates would be in the boat or ship building or repair of sail boats and riggings;
or alternatively having worked as tall ships crew with deep insights into the rig maintenance
and excellent hands-on abilities.
He must also know how to work in a big team with supervisors.

The deckhands are under the orders of the Bosun.
Job description:
They perform all tasks related to the maintenance of the exterior decks, the setup of the guest areas, the maneuver of the different tenders and the handling of lines and anchors upon his orders.
·gangway watches and designated security duties
• Driving tenders/toys and maintaining/stowing the equipment in a proper, safe manner.
• Scuba diving and snorkeling/Water sports knowledge
• Assisting with the transport of deliveries. Offload of garbage.
• Inspection of all deck hardware, hatches, portholes and equipment for defects or signs of corrosion or damage and make recommendations for cleaning, repair or replacement.
• Escorting guests with toys and on excursions. This can include guide work on wilderness excursions.
• Resin, carbon and fiberglass knowledge
• Ability, willingness and experience to go and to work aloft
• Basic knowledge in electricity and mechanic
• Capacity to work under supervision
• Yacht experience a plus
• Tender driving skills and certification are a plus
