Officer in Engineer watch III/1 unlimited
Min previous service as 3/E for one year preferably on bigger yachts or cruise ship
Good computer skills
Reports to :
The Third Engineers report to the Second Engineer
Job description as below and not limited to:
a watch both at sea and in port, being EOOW in charge of the running of the machinery spaces. Filing the logbook daily.
out rounds, monitoring operating parameters of plant and equipment, completing log sheets, and acting in accordance with the guidelines for Watchkeeping in of the Standing Orders.
carry out tasks as delegated by the Second Engineer.
bring to the attention of the Second Engineer any undue circumstances in conjunction with the operation and maintenance of the equipment and systems in his charge.
out the designated emergency duties as per the vessel’s Muster List.
carry out, and report on, all Planned Maintenance tasks pertaining to the equipment and systems in his charge.
in orders for Inventory.
ensure departmental compliance with Risk Assessments, Permit to Work and Standard Operating Procedures as per vessel SMS.
