Requirements:

We are looking for a Doctor ready to join in May for a short contract.
The Doctor is responsible for but not limited to:

· Providing medical care, treatment and advice for Seafarers, Passengers and contractors;
· Keeping the Master fully appraised of the state of health on board, and reporting immediately any medical case or cases which he/she considers serious, meet outbreak criteria, or give cause for concern;
· Assessing medical cases and requesting, through the Master, external assistance, or vessel deviation and medical evacuation as appropriate;
· Maintaining and inspecting the vessels medical facilities, equipment and supplies including first response and first aid equipment;
· Acting in an advisory capacity on matters of health and hygiene and ship’s safety in co-operation with the Master;
· Providing Medical, Health and Hygiene Induction and First Aid familiarisation and training to the crew;
· Maintaining inventory and ensuring safe storage of narcotics and drugs;
· Maintaining all required logs and records;
· Participating in emergency drills and responding to actual emergencies as per the Muster List;
· Adhering to and complying with all Company Policies, Procedures, Manuals and Directives;
· Performing duties and tasks according to but not limited to the above.
