Position: 1st Engineer - Rotation - III/2

Responsibilities
Assisting the Chief Engineer with duties include, but are not limited to:
Maintain and troubleshoot the shipboard infrastructure
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements and troubleshoot issues
Maintain technical documentation, manuals and policies as needed
Work with shore side support team
Assist other ship departments as necessary

Requirements:

COMMERCIAL BACKGROUND NEEDED

DP experience is a plus but not exclusively

Qualifications
STCW III/2 2nd Engineer Unlimited required
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work extended hours in occasionally harsh environments
PSCRB
Advanced Fire Fighting
STCW + Refresher
PDSD or PSA
Proficiency in medical first aid
Security awareness
ENG1/ Medical fit for duty
Passport
Seaman's Discharge Book
Valid US visa or US passport is a plus

Other: Cabin shared
