Reqirements:
● Minimum 3 years’ experience as Diesel Mechanic onboard a vessel
● Experience with Diesel Generators and Engines
● Experience of working with W46 Wartsila Engines
● Recognised Welding certificate
● Strong written and verbal English skills
Additional Responsibilities:
● Responsible for the maintenance and repair of Diesel engines including disassembly, overhaul and reassembly of the Diesel engine components and parts
● Assists with the maintenance, repair and cleanliness of Diesel Engine Systems including but not limited to Fuel Injection, Lubrication and Cooling system
● Performs TurboCharger washing
● Maintains inventory and cleanliness of all tools in their area
● Ensures that planned maintenance assigned to their discipline is conducted and reported
