Responsibility
• Engine room watch when required
• Perform maintenance and cleaning work in engine room according to planned maintenance program (PMS)
• Perform regular Engine room rounds
• Perform check list according to PMS
• Keep control and stock of oils and fuel
• Report malfunctions defects or damages in PMS.
• Participate in mooring operations as required.
• Participate in tank cleaning operations
• Assist with sweeping of cargo tanks
Emergency and Safety Responsibility
• Familiar himself with emergency procedures
• He shall report accidents, and near misses and non-conformance, and maintain a proactive mindset to prevent incidents
