The Captain holds overall command of the vessel, reporting to the Company. You will be responsible for safe navigation, cargo operations, the crew, and the vessel's technical and commercial performance, in line with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM and ISPS. • Voyage planning and safe navigation
• Bulk cargo operations: loading/discharge plans, IMSBC Code, grain loading
• Stability, hull stress and draft survey control
• Ship handling and berthing in restricted waters
• PSC, vetting and ISM/ISPS compliance
• Crew leadership and emergency response
• Commercial communication with charterers, agents and the Company
- At least 3 contracts as Master on bulk carriers
- Valid STCW II/2 Master CoC and all required certificates
