Information about vacancy Chief Engineer (for General Cargo):

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and finalize the main engine and auxiliary systems setup
Conduct and supervise testing and commissioning of engine systems
Ensure all work meets technical specifications and safety standards
Collaborate with shipyard teams and contractors to achieve project completion on schedule
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues during the final stages

Requirements:

EU citizen only
Proven experience as a Chief Engineer
At least 3 years of experience working as a single engineer
Strong knowledge of engine installation, commissioning, and testing procedures
Good English communication skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently within tight deadlines
Relevant certifications and documentation
