1 YEAR CONTRACT ROTATION : 3 MONTHS ON PAID , 2+-1 MONTHS OFF UNPAID
Certificate of Competency as Master/OIM (unlimited) of a ship for the relevant
type/size/trade/operation.
Relevant certifications and licenses for OIM
Experience with self-propelled barges
2 years on board as Master/OIM in the previous company on a similar type of vessel to the one on which
he is appointed.
Assessed and approved ship handling skills for the type of vessel, control and propulsion systems.
Administrative experience in handling ship's ISM, ISPS, IMS reporting and shipboard planning.
Applicable to certain class of vessel only - good working knowledge of Charter Parties and good
communication skills with Charterers/Clients.
Knowledge and experience of oil field related offshore operations and knowledge of relevant Client or
Field Operating Procedures.
Fluency in written and spoken English as well as knowledge of English Marine Terminology.
Strong leadership and communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
