Technical Superintendent

We are currently seeking a Technical Superintendent to join our team in Novi Sad, Serbia and oversee the technical management of a fleet of bulk carriers.

Responsibilities:

• overall control of the vessel’s engineering maintenance and for ensuring that the vessel is in good operational condition on a permanent basis. This shall be in accordance with international, national and Classification standards.
• provision of planned maintenance programs based on manufacturers' recommended maintenance manuals and schedules
• provide for and follow up survey, inspections and repair of the hull, machinery and all other equipment
• Manage vessel budgets and control maintenance expenses
• Conduct regular vessel inspections

Qualifications:

• Sailed to the rank of 3rd, 2nd or Chief Engineer, unlimited COC
• At least 2 years of experience in a technical superintendent or similar role within the shipping industry, with a focus on bulk carriers vessels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English
• Fluent in Ukrainian and/or Russian.
