Deck Mechanic responsibilities

Responsible for the daily maintenance and repair of all mechanical and hydraulic equipment on deck including all pipe lay equipment, cranes and winches as instructed by the Lead Mechanic.
Job tasks:
- Ensure a safe operation of the deck and welding equipment on board in accordance with the highest standards;
- Independently execute watch keeping duties and planned & preventative maintenance.
- Maintenance of pipe lay & deck associated equipment including maintenance to cranes, winches and plant.
