• Two four hour watches per day (schedule worked out by Chief Engineer)
• Carries out routine maintenance as directed
• Responsible for washing and painting in the Engine Room
• In Charge of bunkering of Lubricating Oil
• In Charge of maintenance of A/E's and all auxiliary machinery: Purifiers, bilge & ballast pumps, air compressors etc.
• In Charge of the Sewage Treatment Plant: Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance
