Role: Captain/Master Mariner of Oil Tanker

A worldwide shipping company based in the Middle East is looking to recruit experienced Chief Officers to join their tanker fleet. This is a permanent position with a contract pattern of 3 months on / 3 months off.
What we can offer you
Salary: 10000 – 11500 USD p/m * dependent on experience

Requirements
Minimum 12 months experience on board chemical/oil tanker in rank as Chief Officer.
Good level English.
Good level Arabic.
Education
Minimum High School/Secondary school education.
Higher education certification preferred but not necessary.
Certificates
STCW including Basic/Advanced Oil Tanker Cargo Ops and Fire Fighting
ECDIS
Bridge Team Management
Medical Care

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe operation of the vessel as well as safety of the crew
Implement and ensure adherence to all statutory and legislative rules and regulations.
Ensure that Company's policies and procedures as well as Health and Safety programs are communicated to, understood and adhered to by all Crew members
Managing the crew in such a way as to create a strong, cohesive team. and monitor performance
Determine the ship's speed and location using navigational aids.
Oversee transportation of cargo and ensure it follows proper safety procedure and its arrival at its location on time.
Responsible for preparation and/or submission of logbooks, daily records, maintenance records and permits in accordance with Company and regulatory requirements.
Responsible for the investigation of any incidents or near misses and the implementation of any corrective action.
