Job Advertisement: Chief Officer (C/O) - Chemical Tanker

Are you an experienced and skilled Chief Officer looking for an exciting opportunity to work on a Chemical Tanker vessel? Look no further! We are currently seeking a Chief Officer (C/O) to join our team at OSM Thome on board the Hafnia Fleet. As a Chief Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. This is a world-wide position with the joining port in Panama.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Master in the overall management and operation of the vessel.
2. Ensure compliance with international regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
3. Supervise and manage the deck department, including training and development of crew members.
4. Oversee cargo operations, including loading, discharging, and stowage of chemicals.
5. Maintain accurate records of cargo operations, safety drills, and crew performance.
6. Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure the vessel is in compliance with safety standards.
7. Monitor and maintain navigational equipment and systems.
8. Assist in the preparation of voyage plans and ensure safe navigation.
9. Act as the vessel's security officer, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
10. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment on board the vessel.

Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer (C/O) license and STCW certification.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Chief Officer on Chemical Tankers.
- Extensive knowledge of international regulations and industry standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Proficient in the use of navigational and cargo handling equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
